A monument |

Sir Richard C. Jebb was arguably the foremost classicist of Victorian England. His commentaries on Sophocles, written more than a hundred years ago, are still indispensable today to all those seriously engaged with the texts. These works of historical as well as of practical value are now re-edited for the general public under the direction of Professor Easterling, accompanied by an essay on Jebb the scholar and the man (by Easterling) and individual introductions to particular plays by recognised Sophoclean specialists. The introductions are useful tools for bringing Jebbs work up-to-date where needed. An absolute must for every classicist, and indeed every undergraduate.

a thorough guide to this form covered extensively by series of photographs. it is not always easy to see the progression from one step to the next, but it can be worked out with a little patience. an excellent form, quite demanding and very dynamic, and most enjoyable to perform. the author has genuine skills.

Good base to learn the shaolin five animals set |
Many books do not display this set. As a martial artist, you have to use your imagination along with your basic training to gain some understanding of this specific set. As indicated in the first chapter of the book, each animal has different characteristic in which the martial artist must tap into (the essence). Once that is understood and you incorporate the proper training for each animal, then you start to study the set. Though the descriptions are very brief and shallow, the martial artist must get a feel for the set. To achieve that you must practice the set by breaking it down section by section and memorizing it (along with proper training). Only then you can become successful. One the book, the author needed to give an example and an in-depth description after each section. But what do you expect for the price.
